Online Peer Support Centre

In the Online Peer Support Centre, you gain access to an active group of brain tumour community message boards. Take a look around and listen to what other people affected by a brain tumour are talking about. Everyone is welcome to read along and learn from our message boards.

When you choose to join the Online Peer Support Centre, you can reply to message board postings and start your own discussions. These message boards are a great place to ask and get answers to your questions, share your story and support others who are living with a brain tumour.

Bevacizumab (Avastin®) Update – June 2013

New research about the brain tumour treatment Bevacizumab (Avastin®) was released at the recent American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2013 Annual Meeting. Results were presented from two recent clinical trials focused on the treatment. Because Avastin is one of the few new treatments that have been offered to brain tumour patients in recent years, Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada was eagerly awaiting these results.
