Speaker Biographies:

Molly Bungay, RN
Molly graduated from the St. John’s General Hospital School of Nursing in 1984. During her 27 years as a registered nurse, she has worked in Neurosurgery Intensive Care, Hemodialysis and Capital Health Link. For the past seven years, she has worked as the Tumour Group Coordinator for the Brain Tumour group at the Cross Cancer Institute, a role which she finds challenging, rewarding and very fulfilling.

Janic Yurick
Janice is the coordinator of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Cross Cancer Institute, a free standing cancer facility under the direction of Alberta Health Services, Cancer Care. As the department coordinator, Janice oversees the delivery of the following clinical services: Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Janice’s healthcare background is in physiotherapy - she has been a practicing clinician for more than 25 years with 18 years of experience exclusively in the area of cancer rehabilitation. Although Janice is responsible for the day-to-day operations and administration of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Cross Cancer Institute, her greatest joy still comes from hands on patient care. The role of rehab medicine plays in effecting a positive change in a cancer patients life feeds her passion for oncology rehabilitation.
