Speaker Biographies:

Éric Grandmaison
Éric Grandmaison is a licensed psychologist in the province of New Brunswick. He works as a neuropsychologist at The Moncton Hospital. Although his main duties are with the Neurosciences and Rehabilitation units, he provides services to other units including geriatrics, family practice and psychiatry. He also operates a private practice. Throughout his work, he offers assessment services for various disorders and conditions such as: dementias, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, brain tumours, etc. Éric has published in the areas of memory stimulation, reading and psychiatric disorders. He has made various presentations on dementias, learning, memory stimulation and the effects of brain tumours on functioning. He is presently the President of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick.

Dr. Pier Jr. Morin
Dr. Pier Jr. Morin is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Moncton. He is also a recipient of a 2011 Brain Tumour Research Grant for his work on understanding protein targets in glioblastomas and how they impact tumour progression.
