Local Spring Sprint Sponsorship

The 20 Spring Sprint events are driven by volunteers from across Canada who are working towards the vision to find the cause of and better treatments for brain tumours while improving the quality of life those affected.

Sponsorship support from donors makes it possible to direct maximum funds raised through the Spring Sprint program towards important research as well as education, information, and support for the estimated 55,000 Canadians affected by this devastating disease.

These programs and services are run by Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada with the vision to find the cause of and cure for brain tumours while improving the quality of life for those affected.

The Spring Sprint events offer many benefits to sponsors including a tremendous opportunity for team building when your employees participate. Additionally, the audience for the events includes:

• Thousands of participants: In 2011, over 5,600 people participated in the 21 events across Canada.
• Leaders from the local community (government and business)
• Healthcare professionals
• Participants, from a wide array of businesses and organizations

• Volunteers (over 400 across Canada)
• The general public through media coverage and extensive event advertising: In 2011, Spring Sprint featured more than 75 newspaper articles, radio interviews, and public service announcements across Canada, proudly featuring our national sponsors.
