9:15am - 10:15am: Dr. Maroun - Neurosurgeon

Clinical Experience, State of the Art and Future Therapeutics of Brain Tumours

Even though diagnosing brain tumours has been made easier with modern technology, treatment has not improved substantially in the glioma group. Clinical experience over a period of 50 years, including adult and pediatric, will be presented.

10:45am - 11:45am: Tanya L. Lentz - Clinical Psychologist

Everyday activities following a brain tumour: How to compensate for cognitive difficulties.

The talk will outline common cognitive difficulties following brain tumours and methods by which to adapt to those challenges.
