Where There's Smoke: The Role of Cannabis in Brain Tumours

This webinar will review the potential role of cannabis as a therapeutic intervention for individuals living with brain tumours. A brief history of cannabis in health care will be provided. In addition, the possible benefits and risks associated with medical cannabis will be explored. Lastly, the Canadian context of medical and non-medical cannabis with regards to current and proposed regulations will be discussed. 
Learning Objectives: 
  1. Describe the history of cannabis as a therapeutic agent. 
  2. Review the potential benefits and risks associated with cannabis use in brain tumour care. 
  3. Discuss the current regulatory framework for cannabis in Canada.
