International Brain Tumour Alliance
2007 Walk Around the World for Brain Tumours

The International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA) of which Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is a proud member, is collecting distances walked in support of those affected by brain tumours to help 'Walk Around the World for Brain Tumours'.  The circumference of the Earth is 40,000 kilometres (25,000 miles) at the Equator.

Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is proud to collect the kilometres walked or ran during the 2007 Spring Sprint program to the worldwide target of 40,000 kilometres.  Our goal is to walk the distance of Canada (St. John's NFLD to Victoria, BC = 7,314 kms) through the Spring Sprint program.

This is all part of the Inaugural International Brain Tumour Awareness Week celebration during the week of October 21 - 27, 2007.  For more information, or to find out how to help, please visit www.theibta.org today!
