We are continuing to build awareness about the brain tumour community in Halifax and Nova Scotia, and so, for the fourth year running, we have joined forces with THE signature event in Halifax - the Blue Nose Marathon.

Just like the Brain Tumour Walk events, we will ask all our participants to fundraise. This year, we are directing all funds raised to start a Canadian Brain Tumour Registry to count every brain tumour in Canada. International data suggests that Canada has one of the highest incidence rates for brain cancer in the world. However, we don’t know how many people are affected by brain tumours as Canada does not currently systematically count every brain tumour. We need to change that, as every brain tumour counts! Thank you!

To register, volunteer, or for more information, please contact Eileen Quigg at equigg@braintumour.ca or call 1-800-265-5106 ext. 224
