BrainWAVE BC 2019 Zootastic

BrainWAVE invites its members to a Zootastic Fun Day! 

Date  Saturday, June 15, 2019
Time:  9:30 am - 2:15 pm

Greater Vancouver Zoo
5048-264th Street, Aldergrove, BC V4W 1N7 
(If taking Highway 1, take exit #73.)

Join BrainWAVE for a wild time at the Zoo:

  • Discover the sights and sounds of 140 species on 120 acres in the heart of the Fraser Valley
     
  • Ride the Safari Miniature Train and Walking Safari Educational Tour
     
  • Enjoy a pizza lunch with BrainWAVE friends   
     
  • Participate in a Fabulous Feline Presentation & Animal Encounter
     
  • After the BrainWAVE organized activities, you are welcome to stay and further explore the zoo by foot, bicycles, scooters, roller blades, skateboards, wagons or you can tour around the entire zoo under your own steam by renting a 2-seater Quadra-Cycle.

Please note: Registration for this event is open to pediatric brain tumour patients / survivors and their immediate family only.  All BrainWAVE events are alcohol free.

Please indicate if there are any food restrictions/requirements and/or mobility restrictions/requirements.

This event is free of charge to attend but please note event parking is $6.00. Parking costs are not covered by BrainWAVE.
