The Hats Tribute is a collection of personal stories by those affected by a brain tumour

Dinsmore, Bev

In memory of our father and husband, BEV DINSMORE, who lost his 2 ½ year battle with brain cancer on July 15, 2004. When Bev was a little boy growing up in New Brunswick, he loved hats and would come in from playing three or four times a day just to change his hat! When we were preparing for the reception at our home following Bev’s funeral, his hat, one of his favourites, was front and center along with photographs depicting many of our happy memories through the years. We wondered what we would do with such a unique item once the celebration of his life had come to a close. Several days later we received the letter about the Travelling Hats so we immediately knew where this “beanie” belonged!

We hope it brings a smile and paints a picture of a wonderful little boy who grew up to be a great man, a fabulous husband and an extraordinary Dad!
