The Development of 'A Friend in Hope'

The concept of this book was developed by the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada’s Education Committee (Carol Van Evera, Lesley-Ann Senior, and Natalie Berkiw) and was brought to life by the extraordinary talents of the author, Marisa Zammit, and the illustrator, Erica Dornbusch.

Thanks to Vivid Design for donating their time and skills to the graphic design of this book, and to Autumn Graphics for providing the scans of the illustrations.

A special thank you to Ronald McDonald House Charities as we could not have printed and distributed this wonderful book without their generous donation and support.

This children’s book is fondly dedicated to the memory of Peter Dowling, who brought his many talents to Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada and to the Education Committee. We are so thankful to have known him.
