Mckenna's Hat

Our daughter Mckenna was diagnosed with a Pilocytic Astrocytoma in January, 2010.

After 2 lengthy surgeries, a great team of doctors, and amazing support from family and friends we brought her home where she handled her recovery with determination and humour.

When she arrived home, her special friend, Dr. Jen, brought her a beautiful hat. Her hat is a very special part of her life and even accompanied her to Disney!

The hat definitely has special powers that protect her head and I think we have even seen fairies sitting in the flowers!
