"Two Hats Are Better Than One"

Heartfelt thanks to my family, friends and health care professionals. I was diagnosed in July 2000 with a Pilocytic Astrocytoma attached to my brain stem. Surgery, radiation, physiotherapy and a lot of love and support make me the "luckiest mommy in the world." To my loving Mom and beautiful daughter, Kyleigh; you are both truly my source of joy and strength. - Ruth Russell September 2005.

"For those who have succumbed to their illness, may they rest in peace" - Jodie Brown-Bedford and Jean Brown September 2005.
