Nazem Kadri supports Brain Tumour Foundation of CanadaOn Sunday August 11th, 2013 Toronto Maple Leaf superstar Nazem Kadri held his first Charity Golf Classic. This fabulous event was held at the FireRock Golf and Country Club in Komoka, Ontario.

The tournament attracted both wonderful sponsors and incredible players to this 18-hole championship designed course, one of the premier golf facilities in Ontario

Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is thrilled to have been chosen by Nazem as one of the recipients of the funds raised at this event.

Nazem and his family have experienced the impact of a brain tumour and he wanted to give back to the cause.

On Saturday, August 24th, Nazem and his committee of volunteers presented the organziation with a cheque for $30,000 to help bring hope and support to brain tumour patients and families.

As a small token of appreciation, Nazem was presented with a hat and sweatshirt that each feature Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada's logo.

We know he will wear those items with pride - and will  help raise awareness of the cause while doing so.

The generosity and wonderful spirit of this tournament and that of all the sponsors of this event is incredible and we say 'Thank You' to everyone involved.
