In 2013, after hosting a phenomenally successful fundraising golf tournament, Toronto Maple Leaf Nazem Kadri donated a signed hat to the Hats Tribute.

The hat is donated in honour of his uncle Mohamed Kadri. Mohamed passed away after being diagnosed with a brain tumour more than 10 years ago.

Nazem donated the hat to honour his uncle and offer his support to Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, which he says, offered his family so much support during that difficult time.

Read more about the golf tournament that raised $30,000 for brain tumour patient programs and critical research.

Childhood Brain Tumour Signs & Symptoms

Earlier this year, you gave us your feedback in a survey on brain tumour signs and symptoms. One of the things we did with that survey was to compile a list of the most common signs & symptoms for children. Now, as part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are sharing compelling quotes from that survey and urging you to share them with this link to see the symptoms: www.braintumour.ca/symptoms. Thank you!
