Pawlinsky, Robbie

Robbie Pawlinsky was diagnosed with an Olio brain tumour on September 14, 1999. She has had two surgeries in Victoria and two in London, ON to get rid of her seizures. Then she began chemo for seven times and then radiation for five weeks in the summer of 2001. Robbie is very happy that she can drive her red Blazer again and get where she wants to be. Robbie volunteers at the Vancouver Island Cancer Centre on Thursday afternoons in Pebbles Gift Shop. She has also been the chairperson for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada Spring Sprint in 2003 and 2004. Robbie has just celebrated her 5 year anniversary and is hoping she goes for at least 20 more!
