Bearduary Canada 2016

In memory of Cathy Bozzetto, this annual community event began in January 2010 to support Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.

The goal is for participants to grow facial hair for one full calendar month to raise money for brain tumour research and awareness. Every day in Canada, 27 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour, and brain tumours are the leading cause of solid cancer death for children under 20.

Bearduary Canada is proud to be celebrating its 7th anniversary as a registered community event, and will run throughout the month of February 2016.

In a similar fashion as "Movember", women can also support the cause by donating to participants. Anyone who pledges an amount $20.00 or greater will receive a tax receipt for their efforts.

If you want to learn more, please watch this video or read what motivated this group to get started!

You can also learn more on the Bearduary Facebook page or contact by email at bearduarycanada@gmail.com.

Once again, this year we will attempt to collect most donations online. Please sign-up on the event page (as an individual please).
