Riding for the Registry

Every Brain Tumour Counts

Jennifer Gouchie-Terris lost her 18-year-old son to a brain tumour in October, 2012. She and her husband Darren are cycling 500 km from Angkor Wat, Cambodia to Bangkok, Thailand this November to raise money and support for the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada’s National Brain Tumour Registry which, once completed, will ensure each and every brain tumour in Canada gets counted. In addition to improved data collection, the registry will also result in increased research funding, improved treatments and better patient outcomes. 

Their fundraising goal is $10,000 which is representative of the estimated 10,000 Canadians diagnosed with a brain tumour each year.
