Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to reaching every Canadian affected by a brain tumour through advocacy, research, information, support, and education.
As the Content Writer, reporting to the CEO, you fill a critical role in the impact that BTFC has on the brain tumour community. Your strategic approach to crafting impactful messages will contribute to the long-term success of the Foundation’s ability to engage with various stakeholders, including the brain tumour community and funders. You will use the written word to engage the brain tumour community and to advance the mission and vision of Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
You will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting interviews with brain tumour patients, caregivers and other stakeholders and writing their stories to be shared through a variety of mediums.
- All aspects of the grant seeking process including identifying appropriate funding opportunities, compiling and writing compelling submissions, and tracking and follow up of all grant submissions in order to secure funding for BTFC initiatives.
- Supporting the review and revision of BTFC’s communications and resources as required.
This role may be hybrid or fully remote based on the location of the successful candidate.
If you are passionate about making a difference and committed to excellence and a job well done, we would like to hear from you.
