There are many possible events that students can organize to raise funds for pediatric brain tumours. With our SUPERKIDS program, students develop organizational skills and practice teamwork as they raise awareness and funds for this devasting disease.

Types of events:

  • Quiz night: Divide participants into teams (or ask them to sign up as teams). Prepare a list of questions based on a Superhero theme and have a volunteer “Quiz master” who can ask the questions. Sell tickets to participate and offer a prize for the winning team.
  • Halloween Event: Host a dress up event with a Superhero theme. Consider focusing on healthy treats to obtain Super Powers and raise funds.
  • Fun run: Organize a Fun Run or Fun Walk that the students can participate in with a Superhero Theme. Encourage them to dress as their favourite Superhero and raise pledges from their families or ask for a specific donation amount (i.e. $1). Make it a fun event with music, snacks, and high energy.
  • Coupon book sale: Working with a well-known provider, sell books of coupons for Super Powers of the students to their families and friends. Super powers can be whatever chore or activity the students can think of with proceeds to power up research for pediatric brain tumours.
  • Unleash Your Super Power Talent show: Showcase the talent of your students and faculty by hosting a talent show for students to showcase their superpowers. Encourage individual or team participation, and sell tickets for family and friends to watch.

Whatever your activity is, we are here to support you and make SUPERKIDS a perfect fit for your group!
