I am overjoyed and humbled to receive the 2024 Youth Education Award. It feels amazing to be recognized and supported.

I live with a lot of late effects of the treatment and was thrilled to graduate high school and get a diploma, something we were told was unlikely to happen given the treatment I received.

I feel my brain tumour journey has made me patient and supportive to those who are struggling. I am kind and empathetic and love children. This has led to my enrolment in the Early Childhood Educator program. This generous award will offset the cost of my tuition and allows me to focus on my studies and social skills. A heartfelt Thank You to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada and Deys Fabricating for this award and for believing in me. I will carry your support and generosity in my heart.
