Servier Canada is one such partner. A research-driven pharmaceutical company with global reach, Servier is committed to patient-centred care and advocacy.

We are especially grateful for Servier’s sponsorship of our Brain Tumour Walk, helping fuel research, advocacy and support programs that make a real difference in the lives of those affected by brain tumours.

Servier’s research in oncology currently includes a pipeline of over 30 projects, with several initiatives focused on adult-type diffuse glioma. However, their involvement goes beyond medical innovation. The company supports patients, survivors, and families in meaningful ways, sharing our commitment to care that extends outside the clinical setting, not only during treatment, but also throughout recovery and daily life. Together, we recognize the emotional, financial, and logistical challenges faced by patients and their families, and actively work to reduce these barriers while enhancing long-term support.

In an effort to support patients and their families, we are collaborating with Servier on two initiatives: a patient educational guide to help individuals navigate their diagnoses with clarity and confidence, as well as a resource for patient associations to help with advocating for access to treatment and care. These projects aim to equip patients, families and patient associations with valuable information while raising global awareness about the burden of gliomas.

Together, we remain hopeful and focused on improving the journey for brain tumour patients in Canada. As upcoming projects unfold, we look forward to continued collaboration that puts patients first, because care is about more than medicine.
