United “By the Numbers”: The 2025 Brain Tumour Walk
Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada is thrilled to announce the 2025 Brain Tumour Walk! This year, we’re embracing the theme, “By the Numbers,” highlighting the power of collective action—because when we come together, we can do incredible things. Every step, every story, and every participant plays a vital role in supporting the 27 people diagnosed with a brain tumour every day in Canada.
With options designed for everyone, the 2025 Brain Tumour Walk offers three exciting ways to get involved:
- Flagship Walks: Join one of our six flagship events, hosted in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, London, Toronto, and Ottawa. These in-person Walks, led by Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada, will bring communities together for an unforgettable day of unity, hope, and support. These cities were chosen for their strong history of participation and community engagement, and we can’t wait to see the passion shine once again!
- Community-Sponsored Events: If you’re not near a flagship city, why not bring the Walk to your community? Our Community-Sponsored Events empower local champions to organize their own Walks, with logistical support and up to $500 in sponsorship for event-related costs. This is your chance to rally your community and make an impact together!
- Your Own Walk: Prefer to walk on your own or with a small group? This option provides a flexible way to participate and show your support for the brain tumour community. Whether it’s a stroll through your neighbourhood or a hike in your favourite park, you can make a difference in your own way.
Why walk?
The Brain Tumour Walk is more than a fundraiser—it’s a movement. By walking, you’re raising critical awareness and funds for research, support programs, and advocacy for brain tumour patients and their families. Together, we’re creating hope and building a stronger, more connected community.
