Edmonton BrainWAVE Event | A Christmas Carol

Celebrate the holiday season with the Edmonton Area BrainWAVE community at the Citadel Theatre on Saturday, December 5, for a special showing of this classic holiday tale.

Event Details: Open to all BrainWAVE families in the Edmonton area, lose yourself in the classic tale of A Christmas Carol. Watch the hard-hearted, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he has a Christmas Eve like no other when three Ghosts visit him on a mission to melt his cold heart and help Him find joy and love in family, friends, and the magic of the holiday.
This will be a Relaxed Experience show, an accessible option for audience members who may benefit from a more relaxed theatre environment. This may be ideal for people with sensory concerns, autism spectrum disorders, learning disorders, dementia, families with babies or younger children, or those who may need to be able to leave the theatre frequently during the performance.
This special event brings brain tumour families together in a welcoming space where caregivers, kids, and loved ones can connect over a private meal before the show, while enjoying a day at the theatre!
BrainWAVE is a pediatric support program for families with a child (19 years of age or younger) with a brain tumour. The program offers children, teens, and caregivers a chance to connect with other families in similar situations and access much-needed support, information, and education.
