Discover Volunteer Opportunities with Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada
Are you looking for a meaningful way to support individuals and families affected by a brain tumour? Join one of our upcoming Volunteer Information Sessions to learn more about volunteer opportunities within our Support Group and BrainWAVE programs.
Our Support Groups and BrainWAVE programs rely on dedicated volunteers who help create connections, provide support and build community for those navigating a brain tumour diagnosis.
Support Group Volunteer Opportunities
Our support groups are entirely volunteer-led, making volunteers essential to their success. Whether you have lived experience, professional expertise or simply a desire to help others, there are many ways to get involved.
Volunteers can:
- Start a support group in their community
- Lead or co-lead an existing support group
- Support participants and help foster meaningful connections
BrainWAVE Volunteer Opportunities
BrainWAVE is a support program for families with a child or youth (19 years of age or younger) diagnosed with a brain tumour. Volunteers play an important role in helping families connect, access resources, and feel supported throughout their journey.
Volunteers can:
- Join a BrainWAVE planning committee
- Support community outreach efforts
- Contribute as parent or caregiver volunteers
