Beyond The WAVE | Growing Chefs! Taco Party

Join the taco party! Even if it is not Tuesday, come join us in the kitchen and learn to make the best salsa, guacamole, and other taco toppings to take your next taco party to the next level of tastiness!

This will be a chef-led, interactive, step-by-step cooking activity that is fun and engaging, with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. Every class ends in sharing a delicious meal together. Recipes will be emailed so that participants can recreate them at home.

NOTE: One parent or guardian is welcome to join each Beyond The WAVE member to learn the recipes as well.

Beyond the WAVE is a support program through Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada for young adults (age 18-39) who were diagnosed with a brain tumour as a child, and their parents. The main goal of this group is to provide social activities and enable meaningful connections.
