Being diagnosed with a brain tumour at a young age left many impacts on my life. The most predominant is the importance of helping others. This is why it is my dream to become a pediatric nurse and help children.

This generous award has helped to lift the financial burden that comes with attending university off my shoulders and off my parent’s shoulders. The generosity of Deys Fabricating and Phyllis Retty and Brain Tumour Foundation will allow me to focus all my time on my nursing education so that I can make a difference in the lives of others.
