Diagnosed with an Anaplastic Ependymoma at age 2 H

This award means that I can be focus on my schooling and not worry about finances. I will be able to focus on my schooling and achieving my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse. Looking back, the fact that I can pursue my goals and dreams 18 years after being diagnosed with a brain tumour is phenomenal. I feel so blessed that there are people who are helping me do this. Thank you to the Newhouse Family and Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada for this scholarship and the opportunity to pursue my passion!

May 2021 Update

Receiving this award allowed me to fully apply myself to school without having to worry about how to pay for it. I learned a lot academically and personally, that would not have been possible without the generosity of Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada and donors. Thank you!
