The Health-Care Professional Award was created in 2020 to recognize an individual in the health-care field who has shown exemplary and compassionate care to the brain tumour community. As an organization, we rely on health-care professionals to help guide our supports, reach those who are in need and collaborate on important resources and programs.

This award recognizes a passionate and dedicated individual who is making a significant impact on the brain tumour community through leadership, innovation and service. This award honours a rising leader who demonstrates exceptional potential, inspires others and drives positive change.  

On June 21, the Kingston Grenadiers will once again rally their community around a cause close to their hearts—the fight against brain tumours. Building on the impact of last year’s inaugural Grens Tackle Tumours event, this year’s effort promises to be another powerful day of meaning, connection and support.

This weekend, the Kingston Grenadiers Football Club will take on its toughest opponent yet—brain tumours. The club is hosting an event called Grens Tackle Tumours, which will see its under-16 (U16) and under-18 (U18) teams compete against the Oshawa Hawkeyes while raising funds and awareness for brain tumour research.
